Non-domestic / business rates appeal deadline - 30 September

Scottish Chambers are reminding businesses that the final appeal date for valuations linked to business / non-domestic rates is 30 September 2017.
Companies can find full information on the appeal process via the Scottish Assessors Association website here: https://www.saa.gov.uk/non-domestic-valuation/the-valuation-roll/valuation-appeals/
There are also contact details for each regional valuation board here: https://www.saa.gov.uk/the-assessor/assessors-links/
A business can begin the appeals process by searching for their property on the “Rateable Value” search on the SAA homepage, then clicking “Make an appeal” and following the outlined steps.
