Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2022 - Webinars

Scottish Chambers of Commerce is supporting Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2022 to show the value of Scottish Apprenticeships to people, business and the economy.

As part of Scottish Apprenticeship Week, there will be a series of free online events for employers which will provide information, advice and first-hand accounts of apprenticeships and how they work. The series has been organised by Skills Development Scotland to provide step-by-step advice and practical support to help employers get involved in apprenticeships.

Topics covered will include:

• funding support
• learning provision
• advantages of employing an apprentice
• Foundation, Modern and Graduate Apprenticeships
• insights into changes in the labour market
• support to improve the gender and ethnicity balance of your workforce

In the introductory event, ‘Apprenticeships work for business’, you will hear from apprentice employers, apprentices and learning providers. This webinar is hosted by the Scottish Apprenticeship Advisory Board in partnership with the Scottish Chambers of Commerce and Skills Development Scotland among others.
