Sepsis Awareness Workforce Information Session

Sepsis Research FEAT are facilitating a virtual Sepsis Awareness Workforce Information Session on Wednesday 2^nd November at 11am.

'Sepsis is the number one cause of preventable death in the world. It is an indiscriminate, deadly condition that can kill a previously healthy adult in a matter of hours – and that’s despite all the advances in vaccines, antibiotics and intensive care.'

The Aim of the information session is:

• To educate employers and workers in Fife workplaces about sepsis - a life-threatening condition that kills around 50,000 people in the UK every year.

Attendees will:

• Understand what sepsis is
• Be aware of the dangers of sepsis
• Be able to recognise the key symptoms of sepsis
• Know what to do if they, or someone they know, develops sepsis - either in the workplace or at home
• Understand the work of the charity Sepsis Research FEAT
• Be able to increase awareness and help save lives

Please Note: This information session will be co-facilitated virtually, by Sepsis Research FEAT and Fife Workplace Team, through Microsoft Teams software.
