Sepsis Awareness Workforce Information Session
13th October 2022
Sepsis Research FEAT are facilitating a virtual Sepsis Awareness Workforce Information Session on Wednesday 2nd November at 11am.
'Sepsis is the number one cause of preventable death in the world. It is an indiscriminate, deadly condition that can kill a previously healthy adult in a matter of hours – and that’s despite all the advances in vaccines, antibiotics and intensive care.'
The Aim of the information session is:
- To educate employers and workers in Fife workplaces about sepsis - a life-threatening condition that kills around 50,000 people in the UK every year.
Attendees will:
- Understand what sepsis is
- Be aware of the dangers of sepsis
- Be able to recognise the key symptoms of sepsis
- Know what to do if they, or someone they know, develops sepsis - either in the workplace or at home
- Understand the work of the charity Sepsis Research FEAT
- Be able to increase awareness and help save lives
Please Note: This information session will be co-facilitated virtually, by Sepsis Research FEAT and Fife Workplace Team, through Microsoft Teams software.
Book your place on the information session by emailing us at [email protected] by Friday 21st October.
