Stagecoach East Scotland Installs Defibrillators In All Depots
Staff at Stagecoach East Scotland’s 8 depots are feeling particularly upbeat as the company has recently introduced automatic defibrillators.
The life saving machines have been installed in depots across Fife, Perth and Tayside as well as the Stagecoach East Scotland head office in Dunfermline. Designed to be safely used by anyone, they give the user clear audio and visual instructions and do not require any training to use.
Defibrillators work by delivering a high-energy shock through the chest wall and are indispensable when someone goes into cardiac arrest.
Paul Thomas, Managing Director at Stagecoach East Scotland said: “We are delighted to introduce defibrillators to all our depots and hope they give our staff a bit more peace of mind when going about their day-to-day duties.”
