Tender opportunities at Fife Historic Buildings Trust virtual breakfast
Fife Historic Buildings Trust (FHBT) are holding an open virtual breakfast meeting, on 28th January 2021, 8 - 8.45 a.m. The meeting launches the traditional training and skills development opportunities the 5-year project will offer to the construction sector.
Fife has a higher concentration of listed buildings than any other local authority area in Scotland. The traditional skills training provided free through the Inverkeithing Heritage Regeneration project will allow individuals, construction industry firms and building professionals - architects and surveyors - to develop or hone their tradition building skills. Help us to protect Fife’s world class heritage for generations to come, by appropriate and timely maintenance.
At the meeting, FHBT staff will outline future construction opportunities coming up through the project, and advise on accessing the funded training in traditional skills. Fife Council’s Employability team will advise on the mechanics of taking on a traditional skills apprentice. There will be time for questions and networking.
If you plan to attend please RSVP by email to [email protected] or phone 01592 890060.
