Tycom form partnership with Carbon Zero

4th March 2021

The British Government is legislating that the UK shall be a Carbon Net-zero nation by 2050 and this has implications for all UK businesses and their owners.

Fife Chamber of Commerce member and IT Service specialist Tycom Limited has recently formed a partnership with Carbon Zero to help companies across Fife and the rest of the UK become greener and more energy efficient.

Carbon Zero are a Scottish company and work with businesses to obtain an accurate reflection of carbon emissions, as well recommending high impact solutions to help reduce them. Through this partnership, businesses can now have their IT operations assessed as well.

Robert Dalziel at Tycom comments “There maybe a number of reasons why companies may want to work towards becoming carbon neutral. It might help with market differentiation, tender scoring, reinforce or improve corporate social responsibility or future proof organisation regulations which will be coming down the line. In going through the assessment process, in many cases, businesses save money through efficiencies and reducing waste.”

Companies who are looking to become green leaders in their industry or who simply wish to promote the “Green-Passport” credentials of their existing supply-chain or product range should contact [email protected] or call 07920 847488 for more information.
