Y Viva Espana! for Fife Kidney Support Group
Local accountants Thomson Cooper have presented a cheque to Fife Kidney Support Group for £1,562 following a fund-raising effort which included taking part in a 10 mile Tough Mudder event in June, a sale of cakes donated by Jenny Lee of Blue Bear Cafe in Edinburgh, and generous donations from Thomson Cooper partners and Carnock & Oakley Parish Church.
Fife Kidney Support Group are Thomson Cooper’s nominated charity this year. The Group have decided to ring-fence all the money raised by Thomson Cooper to subsidise a holiday to Girona in Spain in May next year. This trip is open to those members of the Group who receive dialysis or are transplant recipients, along with their carers.
Fife Kidney Support Group is a registered charitable organisation set up in 2003 to help sufferers of kidney disease in Fife. Jim Leishman is their patron. Their aim is to provide support, information and social activities, and to promote the organ donor register scheme.

This local group provides terrific support to those suffering from kidney disease and their families, as can be attested by members of our staff. We look forward to working with Fife Kidney Support Group over the next few months.”
