The Cupar based training company was set up by Jeff Lockhart and Rick Bond in 2013 and since then has gone from strength to strength.

World Quality Day Awards Success!

World Quality Day is a United Nations initiative championed in the United Kingdom by The Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) and supported in Scotland by the Scottish Quality Management Centre(SQMC).

Every November, SQMC mark the occasion by presenting a trophy to their awarding panel’s ‘Quality Professional of the Year’. The accolade for 2015 was yesterday presented to Steven Black: Quality Manager of Glasgow pre-stressed lintel manufacturer, Robeslee Concrete Company.

In celebration of the first anniversary of its opening, Kingsbarns Distillery is delighted to launch the Kingsbarns Distillery Founders' Club.  Members of the new Founders' Club will be the very first to own a bottle of Kingsbarns Single Malt. 

The Kingsbarns Distillery in Fife officially opened on 30th November 2014, St Andrew's Day, with the first spirit running through the stills in January 2015. The launch of the Kingsbarns Distillery Founders’ Club is an exciting chance for whisky enthusiasts to enjoy being a part of the journey for this new distillery.

The Scottish Government’s Resource Efficient Scotland SME Loans Scheme provides businesses with a great opportunity to access support to help them cut costs and increase their competitiveness.  The Scheme can help to fund the installation of a range of carbon reducing measures, such as more resource efficient lighting, glazing, and renewable technologies.   

You are able to apply for the loan scheme if you are a Scottish business which falls within the European Commission’s definition of a Small and Medium sized Enterprise (SME).

Kirkcaldy company crowned High Growth Business of the Year 2015

A Fife entrepreneur has scooped a top business award for the growth of his Kirkcaldy-based content marketing company.

Chris Marr, who hails from Leven, landed the High Growth Business of the Year 2015 accolade at the WeDO Scotland Awards in Edinburgh after doubling the turnover of his business, the Content Marketing Academy (CMA), in the last 12 months.

Chris, who launched the CMA in 2013, also doubled his team and moved into new office premises at Fife Group’s Mitchelston Industrial Estate complex earlier this year.

VisitScotland awards new rating to Kirkcaldy Venue

Fife Cultural Trust recently celebrated as VisitScotland raised the rating of their flagship arts and theatre venue Adam Smith Theatre in Kirkcaldy.

Previously a three star venue, signifying a very good standard of facility, a recent visit from a VisitScotland Quality Assurance Advisor led to the awarding of a new star! The four star rating, which very few venues in the country have achieved, signifies “an excellent standard” of cleanliness, safety, security, comfort, sustainability and customer care.
