Due to continued growth, The HR Booth have appointed a new HR Advisor.  Emma Baker joined the team at the end of October and will support clients across Fife and beyond on people related issues that arise when you run your own business.

Emma has over 15 years HR experience and her previous experience includes generalist HR Manager and specialist HR Consultant roles.  Emma has worked in a variety of industries from financial services and thoroughbred breeding to high-tech IT companies.  Emma has dealt with a wide range of HR situations and scenarios throughout her HR career and has strong relationship building skills having supported managers at all levels of business.

Alistair Booth, Managing Director at The HR Booth commented.  “Emma has been an excellent addition to the team and in the short time she has been with us she has helped some of our clients with really challenging situations, including managing long-term absence, grievances and disciplinary matters.  Our clients tell us that they understand the process but are not sure what or how to say it, and this is where we can help, coaching and supporting business owners and managers through these difficult situations.  We support our clients face to face, ensuring they are managing people effectively.  We are now the largest HR Consultancy in Fife with 3 employees, and we continue to work with associates on specialist projects to ensure we can service all our clients’ requirements.  Emma’s appointment strengthens our team and the value we can bring to our clients.”

The HR Booth offer HR support and advice to SME businesses throughout Scotland, including family businesses, charities, start up and companies that are growing.
