Scottish Tourism Week 2016 kicks off with the 'Connecting 2020 Roadshow' which will be delivered by a variety of destination and partner organisations across Scotland.

Fife will be taking part in the roadshow in the form of an informal business breakfast which will take place at BEST WESTERN PLUS Keavil House Hotel, on March 16th 2016

The morning will start with arrival and breakfast rolls from 8:30am and close at 11am.

Speakers include Liam Barn, Project Manager of the Fife Golf Partnership, Gordon Dewar, Chief Executive of Edinburgh Airport, David Roy who is currently the manager of Crail Golfing Society and Caroline Warburton, TS2020 Strategy Delivery Co-ordinator.

Liam Barn will demonstrate the activities of the Fife Golf Partnership including event attendance, digital and supporting workshops that increase golf club skills in the areas of international tourism and business development.

David Roy is the manager at Crail Golfing Society. Formed in 1786, the Society is the 7th oldest golf club in the world which welcomes thousands of visitors every year, therefore customer service is a key focus for the club. David has recently been elected to the post of Vice President of the Club Managers Association Europe (CMAE) and will serve a two year term before stepping up to the role of President.

Caroline Warburton will tell us how Scottish Tourism Week helps to bring the industry together and celebrate the importance of the sector as well as key messages coming out of the Mid Term Review of the strategy which relate to how Scotland is performing, what's been achieved to date and what the industry is telling us needs to be the focus for the remaining years.

Gordon Dewar will talk about opportunities for Scotland to compete internationally via improved connectivity into Scotland, what those opportunities look like and what Scottish tourism needs to do to make the most of them.
