Impact of Forth Road Bridge closure on Fife businesses

28th January 2016

The Carnegie UK Trust are asking businesses based in Fife to help evaluate the impact of the Forth Road Bridge closure (3-23 December 2015) on them as both traders and employers. This research project will also map the impact of the closure on how residents worked, consumed goods and services, travelled and pursued leisure activities during this period. The Trust is working in partnership with other organisations researching travel and logistics during the disruption, and will contribute to the overall analysis of the impact of the emergency closure in Spring 2016.

The short survey can be accessed here: bit.ly/fifebusiness.

Respondents are asked to complete the survey by 19 February 2016. If you would like to receive a link to the short report on the impact of the bridge closure on publication there is an option to provide your contact details at the end of the survey. Respondents who provide their contact details will also be entered into a draw to win number 332 of the limited edition anthology of the sayings of Andrew Carnegie.
