Shortlist announced for Fife Business Awards!

16th November 2018

The shortlist for the Fife Business Awards are here and an impressive array of businesses are in the running for the much-coveted awards.

The 2019 awards were launched earlier this year as ‘bigger and better’ than ever before, and are certainly shaping up to be the best yet, with applications this year up by nearly 30%.

New and revised categories reflect the broad range of businesses and not-for-profit organisations operating in Fife and each of the businesses nominated has contributed to the Fife economy and wider society. New categories include Best Marketing Campaign, Excellence in People Development (up to 20 employees) and Excellence in Community Engagement, which have been warmly welcomed by local businesses, with each category receiving high quality entries.

The finalists will all meet the judges for an informal chat designed to get to know their businesses better. Following this, a behind the scenes visit will be arranged to give the judges more insights into each business; bring to life elements from their application and give a further opportunity for them to highlight key areas that they are proud of.

The glittering Awards Ceremony will take place on Friday 29th March 2019. Anticipation is already building and it’s certain to be a wonderful night, celebrating Fife’s best.

Alan Mitchell, Chief Executive of Fife Chamber of Commerce, the organisers of the Fife Business Awards, said: “We have been inundated with nominations for the Fife Business Awards from a wide mix of outstanding organisations. Fife is very proud of them all. I want to thank everyone who applied, and congratulate and wish the best of luck to everyone who has been shortlisted.”
