CEO Update - February 2026

The past month has been a particularly busy and rewarding one for Fife Chamber of Commerce, and I am delighted to reflect on a period filled with connection, collaboration and celebration.

A major highlight was our 200th Anniversary Dinner, which proved to be a truly memorable evening. It was wonderful to bring our business community together to mark this significant milestone in the Chamber’s history. The evening was a great success, with exceptional hospitality at the Fairmont, and phenomenal speakers (Gordon Smart, Dex Hunter-Torricke and Sean Rose) who left guests inspired, energised and looking confidently towards the future. It was a fitting way to honour 200 years of championing business in Fife while setting the tone for the next chapter.

Collaboration has also been front and centre this month. We were pleased to host a Tri-Chamber Speed Networking event at The Physician, in partnership with Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce and Perthshire Chamber of Commerce. The event demonstrated the power of regional collaboration, creating valuable new connections and opening the door to fresh opportunities for businesses across our shared geographies.

Advocacy remains a core priority for the Chamber, and I was pleased to take part in a recent MSP Roundtable, providing a platform for meaningful dialogue between businesses and policymakers. Alongside this, we have been actively engaged in discussions relating to the Edinburgh City Region Deal, ensuring that the voice of Fife’s business community is represented in conversations that will shape our region’s future economic growth.
