Chris Trotter Books attending the Backhouse Rossie Daffodil Festival 2023

3rd April 2023

Christopher has many years of experience in the hospitality world, running hotels and restaurants. He has run a Michelin-starred kitchen and trained staff at all levels of the industry achieving industry awards and training qualifications, as well as working for guides and doing restaurant review work.

His passion is for seasonal food sourced locally and he has been honoured by the region with the title Fife Food Ambassador, for his work in promoting the food and hospitality world in Fife.

As a committee member of the Guild of Food writers, he works with some of the top food commentators in the world. He is looking for any support and guidance to help him get his books into retail outlets. If you think you can help him, please do get in touch. For contact details and to find out more about the work he does across Fife, please visit Christopher Trotter, Chef, Writer, Teacher, Speaker and Events organiser.

In keeping with his seasonal themes, he would also like to let you know about the Daffodil festival held every year at Backhouse Rossie estate on the A91 between Collessie and Auchtermuchty. It’s a lovely festival. He had no idea there were so many varieties of daffodils! (there is also loads of wild garlic!) You can learn everything you ever wanted about Daffodils from the lovely laid-back owners, The Thomson’s. It is on over the Easter weekend this year.

Christopher will be there selling his range of vegetable cookbooks!
