The Dundee Gin Company gets behind Military Charities
The Dundee Gin Company are proud to support a number of local military charities, enabling these charities to compliment their activities and enhance the experience of their supporters through the presence of a dynamic local business.
In recent months Dundee Gin have attended numerous events in the local area, providing both catering services as well as giving patrons, volunteers and attendees access to the areas favourite local gin!
During Autumn of 2021 they attended the RAF Benevolent Fund Event at Broomhall house where they were delighted to support the event through our donation of prizes, assistance with marshalling and provision of all staff catering on the day.
Speaking about the companies commitment to supporting local military charities, David Bruce – Managing Director commented; “We kicked off our 2022 campaign in February, supporting the launch event of the Buccaneer Aircraft at the Scottish Deer Centre. This event gave Dundee Gin Co the opportunity to recognise some of the countries amazing veterans by providing free samples of our commemorative Navy strength gin with botanicals from The Falkland Islands.
During March and April the team carried on supporting our partner charities. Firstly we had the honour of meeting Corporal Cruachan the Shetland Pony mascot of the royal regiment of Scotland, while supporting their Erskine Hospital fundraiser which raised £30,000 for the charity. This was then followed by the John Young backed Tri-Services golf day at Aberdour Golf Club where Dundee Gin donated a number of prizes and supported the catering at the event.
The whole team at Dundee Gin Company are honoured to have the opportunity to support these local charities who provide such vital services to our armed forces. As a local business we have a duty to support these great causes, but we genuinely feel privileged to be able to attend and support these events, and we will continue to do what we can to help.”
Dundee Gin Company were recently recognised for their ongoing commitment to local charities when they received the Armed Forces Covenant, Bronze award, in recognition of their commitment to the Armed Forces.
