Effective Workplace Practices Development
How effective are your workplace practices and culture in using and developing the full range of skills, knowledge and experience available within your workforce? This free half-day workshop organised by Skills Development Scotland offers a rare opportunity to discover how a growing number of companies are transforming their working practices and culture in ways that lead to real improvements in productivity, performance, engagement and well-being. You will have a unique opportunity to assess workplace practices and culture in your company against some of the best examples in the UK and Europe, and to identify positive opportunities for innovation and improvement. Join other like-minded businesses for this highly interactive and informative event!
UKWON, who are internationally recognised in this area of workforce development , will lead and facilitate this session on behalf of Skills Development Scotland.
Workforce development is becoming an increasingly important topic for businesses with policy information being published around The Levy; The Fair Work Convention; Workplace Innovation; The Business Pledge & Developing Scotland’s Young Workforce. These, along with businesses regularly highlighting their aging workforce; the need to engage with schools and the challenges around recruiting as the economy strengthens makes this a highly topical and pertinent workshop.
We hope you find the workshop very useful for your own business but your input to the event will also support the wider Scottish business community as we will utilise the learning from the workshop to streamline the service SDS offers to employers. The outputs will be used as evidence to develop a workforce development framework that businesses can use to reference and improve their own workforce planning and practice.
