Entrepreneurial Leadership Programme

12th October 2016

Fife Council Economic Development and Edinburgh Napier University are delighted to advise that we are recruiting for our second cohort of our successful innovative programme – the Entrepreneurial Leadership Programme (ELP).

We have identified you as a successful business leader who we believe may benefit from participation. We would like to offer you one of the limited numbers of places on this exciting programme.

The programme is designed to be flexible in approach and includes a model to allow entrepreneurs to immediately apply their newly acquired knowledge and capabilities. The programme is over a period of 7 months, and made up of a series of one day monthly workshops with topics including:

  • Leading to New Horizons: Entrepreneurial Leadership
  • Creating the Future: Managing Innovation
  • Growing for Profit: Growth Entrepreneurship
  • Accelerator Growth Project

Each workshop will challenge participants to take their learning and infuse it into the growth of their business as well as providing a platform for effective business networking. The output of the programme is a business growth plan which you will develop throughout the duration of the programme. The practical nature of the workshops and support clinics will allow you to see business opportunities, and how to explore and exploit these in the short and medium term.

Due to the partnership with Edinburgh Napier University, on successful completion of this exciting programme, participants will be awarded an “Executive Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation”. For those who wish to continue their development, they will also have the opportunity to formalise their learning by linking it with recognised qualifications for example BA Business and Enterprise, MSc Entrepreneurial Leadership.

We hope very much that you will see the value of participating in this innovative programme which is fully funded by Fife Council as part of our Fife Task Force. In return for our commitment to cover the programme fees, there is an expectation if you accept your place that you will commit fully to the programme and attend all workshops where possible. To allow you to co-ordinate your diary, the dates are attached with this letter, which will all be hosted in the Carnegie Conference Centre in Dunfermline.

If you would like to participate in this unique leadership approach, please confirm your place by Monday 17th October to Peter Skellett at [email protected].
