Exciting café opportunities to help bring visitors back to museums and galleries
Sector research shows that visitors’ attitudes and behaviours have changed as a result of Covid-19 and OnFife faces the challenge of encouraging previous visitors to return and attracting new ones.
Good cafes play a significant part in the overall experience for the majority of visitors and high-quality cafes at St Andrews Museum and DCL&G provide an opportunity to help towards recovery and transition out of the pandemic.
The cafes are expected to be innovative and offer a destination experience in and outside the venues; be welcoming, accessible and offer quality food; staff will be employed under fair terms and conditions, and the service will be tailored to emerging and evolving customer needs and expectations.
