Fife Chamber CEO Update August 2023

As we continue to hold onto the last few weeks of Summer we are looking forward to a busy schedule in August and September leading into Autumn and our Business EXPO in October.

The plans, for the upcoming EXPO is taking shape and so far, we have confirmed four great seminars during the day. We have a Skills Sector seminar entitled ‘What will your future employee look like in 10 years’. We have a Journey to Net Zero seminar entitled ‘Zero means Zero’ and discusses the challenges Manufacturing faces on the journey. Our ‘Charity’ seminar will look at the challenges facing Charities with the engagement of the Private Sector, Fundraising and the recruitment of Trustees. Our ‘Health and Wellbeing’ seminar will focus on the current challenges relating to the Health and Wellbeing of staff in the current climate. We also have a further two exciting seminars which are currently being worked on. Please keep a look out for these in the next few weeks and be sure to register to either come along on the day to see what Fife has to offer or take a stand and show the rest of Fife what you as a Business has to offer.

Fife Social (Today)

Our next Fife Social is at the picturesque Kirkcaldy Golf Club on the 17^th August. I hope the weather treats us well and please do register to attend. I look forward to seeing you there.

Our latest training workshop ‘Customs Procedures and Documentation’ on the 8^th August, was a great success and we continue to develop our International Offering with events happening in September/October and November.
