Fife Chamber Of Commerce Launches ‘Fife Social’

12th October 2016

Fife Chamber is launching a new series of informal networking events to give Fife businesses the opportunity to meet in a relaxed environment.

The first event takes place on Thursday 20th October at Cluny Clays.

Fife Social is designed to provide a relaxed and enjoyable networking environment for Fife’s businesses to get together and build relationships without the pressures of traditional networking events.

The events will run from 4.30pm to 7pm, with guests welcome to attend for as little or as much time as they like. They have no rigid format or set agenda and no speakers. Fife Chamber’s friendly staff will be on hand to make introductions and make sure everyone has a great time.

Fife Chamber Chief Executive Alan Mitchell said: “Networking can often be quite formal and it is a daunting experience for many people. The Chamber champions connecting people and we felt there was a great opportunity to introduce events more focused on a relaxed and entertaining atmosphere, where introductions and relationships can occur and grow naturally. We created the Fife Social events to realise this and we are very excited about welcoming everyone to Cluny Clays.

“With further monthly events already planned through to next year in Dunfermline, St Andrews and Glenrothes, Fife Social is a fantastic opportunity to make new connections whilst enjoying yourself.

“We hope that all of our 300 member organisations will come along to support Fife Social and we are encouraging them to bring along guests who may not be Chamber members themselves – the whole event is designed to get Fife businesses talking, without strings attached.”
