Fife Chamber EU Briefing

30th June 2016

The uncertainty over the result of last week’s EU Referendum has been replaced by political disagreement about the way forward now that the UK has voted to leave and conflicting opinions over the timetable for negotiations with our European neighbours following David Cameron’s decision to step down as Prime Minister.

To help you to understand the implications of the vote and how the Scottish Business community is responding to this unprecedented challenge, Fife Chamber will run a seminar on Thursday 11th August 2016, when Liz Cameron, Chief Executive of the Scottish Chambers of Commerce, will set out what steps she is taking to ensure that our Governments know exactly what Scotland’s chamber members expect them to deliver to help them to plan their company’s future in the post-EU world.

The briefing will take place on the afternoon of 11th August and the precise start time and venue will be confirmed as soon as possible. If you would like to reserve a place at this free briefing, contact us at [email protected]. This event is exclusively for members.

At the moment there are more questions about what last week’s vote means for business than there are answers but you can be assured that Fife Chamber and its Scottish and UK chamber partners are doing everything we can to help you get the information that you need to help you to plan the changes you need to make in your business.

It will not be a quick process but there are some certainties that we can all still rely on:

  • designing and delivering great products and services attracts and retains customers;
  • innovating and learning keeps you ahead of the competition;
  • building strong relationships with customers and partners pays dividends.

In the midst of all this turmoil there has never been more need to stay engaged with YOUR Chamber through attending our events to learn, innovate, network and connect. Why not start by joining the 130 members who have already signed up for the Annual Dinner on 30 September? In addition, all members can draw on a range of additional business services.
