Fife College to Lead Skills Support for Workers Affected by Mossmorran Closure

Fife College has been confirmed as the delivery partner for the Scottish Government’s skills and training programme to support workers affected by the closure of the Fife Ethylene Plant at Mossmorran.

Working alongside the Scottish Government, Fife Council and PACE (Partnership Action for Continuing Employment), the College will provide rapid, tailored support to help employees transition into new job opportunities across Fife and beyond.

“As Fife’s community college, from the day this closure was announced we’ve been clear that we would be there to support the workers and their families through this situation.

“This is a difficult time for employees and their families. Our priority is to provide fast, personalised pathways that help people move confidently into sustainable new employment.

“Through initial tailored Training Needs Analysis and then targeted upskilling, delivered with Fife Council and PACE, we will align training directly to real job opportunities in Fife and beyond.
