Heathrow Summit - Next Week
The Heathrow Business Summit held in Edinburgh on Wednesday 18th October offers the unique opportunity for Scottish SMEs to make key connections and trade face to face with Heathrow’s supply chain and seek out growth opportunities locally, nationally and internationally.
The airport spends over £1.5bn annually with more than 1,200 suppliers from around the UK and there will be more work on the horizon with expansion. Construction of the runway will be the UK's largest infrastructure project and small and medium-sized businesses will be critical to delivering the £16bn investment.
The Heathrow Business Summit on 18 October will give local businesses the chance to have free 15 minute face-to-face appointments with Heathrow’s supply chain in a one day event from 10am – 4pm which includes a light lunch and refreshments for all guests. Heathrow’s existing supply chain will support and guide SMEs on how to connect and build trade relations into new supply chains at Heathrow.
