Husband and Wife Duo Win the Jimmy McRae Trophy

Husband and wife rally crew win the Jimmy McRae Trophy - and receive it from the legend himself!

In front of a bumper crowd, Fife rallying couple, Ian and Kathryn Forgan from Upper Largo, won the Border Access Rally Stages yesterday at Knockhill. There impressive 36 second lead means they left the Fife Circuit as leaders of the 2026 Scottish Tarmac Rally Championships.

As a special addition, the winning crew also receive the Jimmy McRae Trophy and this year, for the first time, the 5 times British Rally Champion Jimmy McRae personally handed the Forgan's the trophy named after him. Co-driver Kathryn said after receiving the Trophy from Jimmy, "What an honour. that was the best bit about today!"
