Local Photographer Wins Several Awards
Caroline Trotter from Upper Largo, has recently been awarded several accolades at two prestigious events.
The first event was the Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year 2016, the world’s leading food photography and film awards.
Headline sponsor of the Award is premium global apple brand Pink Lady® and other sponsors include Champagne Taittinger, Marks & Spencer, Partridges, grocer to HM the Queen and Errazuriz. A glittering panel of judges has included names such as Antonio Carluccio, Yotam Ottolenghi, David Loftus, Jamie Oliver’s photographer and Michel Roux Jr as well as a host of other stars of the food and photography world.
Two of Caroline’s photographs were exhibited at the Mall Gallery in London. They had been shortlisted from over 7000 worldwide images. They picked up a ‘Highly Commended’ award for each of them.
Caroline is a qualified photographer and member of the Master Photographers Association [MPA]. Their annual Scottish Awards ceremony was recently held in Dunkeld where Caroline picked up 6 awards. Four merits for food photography, family portraits and reportage weddings and two awards of excellence for pet portraits.
