New Training for Managers - In-work Poverty
An exciting new course for Managers, Team Leads or Supervisors who would like to know more about in-work poverty is now available.
In-work poverty in Scotland is on the rise, with many working families finding themselves in poverty due to low wages and an increase in the cost of day to day living.
The course, delivered by Citizens Advice and Rights Fife, aims to provide managers and supervisors of staff with practical skills to recognise when an employee’s financial situation may be affecting their work and how to approach the issue with that person.
It will also provide information on the local sources of support that their employees may be able to access.
Two dates are available for this half-day course. The first takes place at Fife Voluntary Action, Glenrothes on the morning of Tuesday 22nd May, and there is an afternoon session at Lynebank Hospital, Dunfermline on Tuesday 29th May.
