RAF Benevolent Fund host an evening with Squadron Leader Kirsty Murphy, the first and only female Red Arrow

23rd September 2025

Have you ever met a Red Arrows pilot or wondered what it is like to fly a display in their iconic Hawk aircraft?

Join the RAF Benevolent Fund at Broomhall House on Saturday 4 October for an evening with Squadron Leader (retd) Kirsty Murphy, the first and only female Red Arrow.

You will be greeted by a Guard of Honour and internationally renowned piper, Craig Weir. The evening begins with a drinks reception where you will be welcomed to Broomhall House by our hosts Lord and Lady Bruce. Then Kirsty will be in conversation with fellow RAF pilot, Gavin Davey, when she will reflect on her time as a frontline Tornado pilot on operations, selection for the Reds and her experiences with the world’s leading aerobatic team.

The conversation will be interspersed with audience questions and will be a unique opportunity to find out about Kirsty’s exploits in a high-octane and demanding environment.

The evening will close with a high-end supper and drinks and the opportunity to meet Kirsty personally. There will also be a high-value auction, including Red Arrows artwork, which Kirsty will be pleased to autograph.

There is already considerable interest, and the 70 places are likely to be taken quickly – booking early is recommended and you will see more information in the attached flyer.

Tickets are £80 each and to book your place(s), please e-mail scotland@rafbf,org.uk but please be quick.
