Raith Rovers complete loan signing of Jamie Gullan from Hibernian
Raith Rovers have finalised the loan signing of Hibernian reserve striker Jamie Gullan.
The 19 year old goalscorer has been with Hibs for 5 years, and scored one of the goals in the Final as Hibs beat Aberdeen to with the 2017–18 Scottish Youth Cup final.
Jamie has also spent time on loan with Gala Fairydean Rovers and Queens Park over the last two seasons, and will join up with John McGlynn’s side from this week until the end of the current season.
Speaking to raithrovers.net, Rovers manager John McGlynn said: “Jamie has been playing and scoring regularly for Hibs Reserves this season, and this loan move will see Raith Rovers and Jamie benefit from what he will bring to the squad. Jamie’s movement and finishing will bring a different element to the squad – he will add a freshness and edge to our forward line.
He is a confident, hungry young player and this is a great opportunity for him to gain valuable experience for his own development. He will also get the opportunity to help us consolidate our playoff place in a competitive environment”
