Scottish Chambers of Commerce appoints new International Trade Director to target global growth
Scottish Chambers of Commerce’s new International Trade Director, Seona Shand, takes up her post on 2nd August to lead the production of a new model of trade support services for the chamber network and to help local chambers build their international trade support capacity. The Scottish Chambers of Commerce network already offers businesses an unrivalled opportunity to identify new overseas markets and start their exporting journey through Export Hub Scotland.
Commenting on the appointment, Morag Durie, International Trade Executive at Fife Chamber of Commerce, said: “We are delighted that Seona is taking on this important role at SCC. She has international trade experience, and she knows how local chambers of commerce operate, having worked at one for many years. For a chamber like Fife, which has ambitious plans to develop its international services and events portfolio under Fife International, being able to draw on Seona’s expertise is a big boost.”
