The Scottish Chambers of Commerce (SCC) Quarterly Economic Indicator Survey is back!
It's a key barometer of business and trading conditions in Scotland. Over the past two years, the SCC has shared the issues being faced by the business communing with policymakers at Holyrood and Westminster to secure vital business support, quicken the easing of COVID-19 restrictions and be the voice of business in Scotland.
The latest survey received significant coverage in the media, highlighting that companies are becoming increasingly anxious about their prospects in the face of complex economic challenges. These include the war in Ukraine, the labour market shortages, the international supply chain disruption, the soaring energy prices and the current rated of inflation which all threaten to hamper the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
