St Andrews Management Centre celebrates its’ 2nd birthday.
St Andrews Management Centre is this week celebrating the company’s 2nd year.
The Cupar based training company was set up by Jeff Lockhart and Rick Bond in 2013 and since then has gone from strength to strength.
Starting out working from an office in Rick’s house the company soon moved to a small office in Evan’s Business Space. STAMC achieved approved centre status from both the Institute of Leadership and Management and the SQA towards the end of last year. Two years from starting out, STAMC now has a team of five with an additional five associates and has moved to The Westport Business Centre in Cupar.
Reflecting on the company’s development over the past two years Director Jeff Lockhart said:
“We’ve hit some great company milestones in the first two years. We now deliver courses all over the country and regularly work further afield. Recently we’ve delivered courses in China, Saudi Arabia & Malaysia with more international projects on the horizon.
We’ve been lucky to work with some great clients with highlights for us being Fife Council, Falkirk F.C Community, Carnoustie Golf Links and supporting Tullis Russell candidates to complete the ILM courses they started before the closure.”
Looking forward to year three Director Rick Bond outlined the company’s plans for the future.
“Over the next year we will be rolling out our new programmes in Customer Service: Beyond Excellence and Key Account Management Planning/Development. We will also be adding to our portfolio of SQA qualifications by developing Professional Development Awards in Learning and Development which will add to our existing workplace Assessor/Verifier course options. Year three is already shaping up to be a busy one.”
