Strong Start for Love St Andrews App

Locals and visitors are being encouraged to download the new Love St Andrews app, which has enjoyed a strong start since launching in September 2025.

Created by St Andrews Business Improvement District (BID) with support from Fife Council’s Town Centre Development Team and technology partner Loqiva, the app brings everything St Andrews has to offer into one place.

Since launching, the app has quickly become a go-to tool for people living, working and visiting the town. It has already attracted 3,650 active users, who are using it to explore what’s on, discover new places and make the most of exclusive offers from local businesses.

With over 400 events registered so far and more than 60 special offers available exclusively to app users, it’s fast becoming one of the easiest ways to stay connected with what’s happening across St Andrews.

With Christmas just around the corner, Georgia Heggie, St Andrews BID Manager, is hoping even more people will make use of the app and support local businesses:

“It’s a fantastic way to connect people with local businesses, events and news, all in one place.

“St Andrews has so much to offer, and the app gives us another way to showcase the town and support our local economy.

“We’re looking forward to continuing our work with Loqiva to develop it further and make it even more helpful for residents, students and visitors.”

Every business in St Andrews has its own dedicated listing, making it easier than ever to discover shops, restaurants, cafés, services and attractions.

Users can also find up-to-date local news, event listings, trails and exclusive offers from participating businesses.
