Telecommunications provider partners with local school and reacts to new government support scheme

Wellwood Communications has teamed up with local school St Margarets's Academy in Livingston to offer work placements that promote the world of engineering, customer service and business administration to their students.

Working closely with the school, Wellwood Communications looks to provide students with an insight into the telecoms industry and different opportunities for when they leave school.

New 12-month business support scheme

The government have now launched a new support scheme for eligible commercial customers who have a contract with a licensed energy supplier. The Energy Bill Discount Scheme will run for 12 months from 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024.
