The British Superbikes go on tour with "Superbikes in the City" ahead of a record weekend at Knockhill.

100's of bike race fans, and some bemused tourists, came along to “Superbikes in the City” at the Mound in Edinburgh today to see a fabulous display of race bikes and some of the UK's top racers. The worlds premier National Superbike Championship, the ZYN British Superbikes, went to the heart of Edinburgh for a fans "Meet and Greet", and the fans, and racers, were not disappointed.

Double Champion Kyle Ryde, Max Cook, Storm Stacey, Perth's Rory Skinner and Haddington based Lewis Rollo all put their best foot forward as they met and interacted with fans.

A great display of Superbikes were accompanied bikes two special 30th anniversary display bikes that will be on show at Knockhill over the weekend. Steve Hislop's 2000 championship winning bike was accompanied by the 2009 winning bike of Leon Camier.

The event is the largest in the history of the championship visiting Knockhill in the last 30 years and runs from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st . Tickets and full event information are available on www.knockhill.com
