Thomson Cooper take on Great Glen Challenge
A team from Thomson Cooper have set themselves a serious challenge this summer by participating in the Great Glen Challenge on Friday 25th August outside Fort William to raise money for the Royal Scottish Agricultural Benevolent Institute (RSABI).
The challenge consists of an 18km hike, a 17km run, a 46km mountain bike and a 6km kayak course. The funds raised will provide assistance and support to people employed within the agricultural community and their dependents who are with dealing with issues such as mental health problems and financial difficulties. RSABI helped over 850 people last year alone.
David Walker, Thomson Cooper Managing Partner, heads up the firm’s agriculture team with Partner Mark Gibson. Having worked with the agri community for over 35 years, David paid tribute to the role that RSABI plays within the industry, “they provide vital funds to people who are in real need. We are delighted to be part of this challenge and hope our friends and associates will support our fundraising endeavours for this worthy charity.”
