University of St Andrews are Hosting a Scottish Innovation Support Showcase

University of St Andrews are hosting a Scottish Innovation support showcase event on the afternoon of the 8th October at Eden Campus with the aim of connecting attendees with relevant networks to translate research/innovations into impactful solutions. The event is open to regional Universities and businesses.
You will have the opportunity to connect and speak with:
- Our Scottish Innovation Centres and learn about the support they provide to academic institutions in Scotland.
- IBioIC (Industrial Biotechnology): Lynsey Blain and Kim Cameron
- BE-ST (Built Environment-Smarter Transformation: Kirsty Duncan
- The Data Lab (data and AI, sector agnostic): Malcolm Price
- DHI (Digital Health and social care): Abigail Lyons
- Interface over of their funding mechanisms for stimulating collaborations between Scottish Universities and businesses/charities as well as support in identifying partners – Louise Arnold.
- East of Scotland KTP Centre an overview of IUK funded programme for knowledge transfer projects between academic institutions and businesses/charities – Anne-Marie Haughey
- SPEERI (Scottish Partnership in Energy and Engineering Research & Innovations) support available for academics/researchers, businesses and public sector for research and innovation activities – Jennifer Smart and Barry McGhee
- Innovate UK ICURe funding and support available to academics and researchers for market validation activities pre-commercialisation – Veronica Ferguson
- JHI Innovation hub (James Hutton Institute) overview of current commercialisation and market validation support programme in agri-tech and clima-tech sectors – Rachel Clark
- Innovate UK UKRI Global Partnerships opportunities and support for innovative SMEs to collaborate and explore global markets, accelerating business growth – Sophie Mifsud
- Scottish Enterprise Innovation support overview of support available to Scottish businesses for accelerating growth through innovation – Craig Early
