With Change Comes New Opportunity
With change comes new opportunity, as Fife Chamber of Commerce welcomes new interim CEO, Ken Richards.
Ken Richards will be known to many Chamber members. He is a former Managing Director of Sign Plus in Dalgety Bay, and currently sits on the Board of DYW Fife. Ken has been a strong advocate for Fife Chamber over the years.
Ken Richards said, “I am delighted to be invited by the Board to give interim support and guidance to the talented Fife Chamber team as we head into 2023. I look forward to engaging with our members, as a means to ensure that Fife Chamber continues to deliver a programme of events and services that is appealing to companies in Fife. After all, Fife is a great place to do business and we are here to truly champion that message.”
Ken will initially be in post until the 31st of March 2023, with a brief to support all of our members and to work with the Board and Chamber team to develop our current strategy, which will of course, include the Fife Business Awards in May.
Commenting on the new appointment, Fife Chamber President, Colin Brown said, “The Board were keen to ensure we could continue to deliver the high-quality service which Fife businesses have come to expect from the Chamber and the team. Being able to move quickly to secure Ken’s services allows for an orderly transition from Alan. The Board and the team are mindful of the fact that we are living through an economic crisis and want to take the next few months with Ken at the helm to set the future direction of the Chamber to help all of our members. Fife Chamber is YOUR Chamber and Ken, the team, the Board, and I all want to know what we can do to help your business grow and get through some of the short-term challenges.”
