CEO Update August 2024

13th August 2024

Welcome back to the hustle and bustle

As the summer holidays draw to a close and we settle back into our routines, I hope you’ve had a chance to recharge. The Fife Chamber team has been busy planning events and resources to support your business.

This month, our Thompson Cooper article focuses on how debt can impact SMEs, but how proactive measures can prevent crises - with advice on cash flow control, careful borrowing, risk planning, and cost efficiency.

Get ready for a busy autumn.

We're planning a packed events calendar for August, September, and October, with something for everyone. Our first International Trade Pathways event is fully booked, but there are still places available for the remaining three courses Events (fifechamber.co.uk).

Save the Date

Our calendar is filling up with exciting events. Mark your diaries for the Amazon Accelerator on 30th August and 27th September, and our Business Expo on 11th September.

We're also thrilled to announce our upcoming AGM and the ChamberForce 5-a-side football tournament.

Keep an eye out for our next speed networking event with Dundee and Perth Chambers, and our annual Dunhill Business Breakfast.

We’re committed to providing value to our members. If there’s anything specific, you’d like to see from the Chamber, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Here’s to a productive and successful rest of the year!
